About

I hope to share this comic with a wide audience. FilteredFuzz is a family friendly comic and will remain so. This comic is work safe and school safe. There should not be material deemed any more offensive than what one may see in a kid-friendly animated film. That being said, I will work hard to meet a standard of quality that can be appreciated by both children and adults. I urge you to e-mail me with comments, questions, and any feedback you may offer and I will read and answer e-mails in a timely matter.

Questions and Answers

What is Filtered Fuzz about? Basically, Filtered Fuzz is a fantasy/adventure comic about a normal young man named Jared whose life is turned upside down when he meets a frogoblim named Maggot. In short, it’s about the adventures that the two have.

Why is the comic called Filtered Fuzz? At one time, it was going to be called Two For the Show and I really didn’t like that. Filtered Fuzz stuck.

What is Maggot? Maggot is a frogoblim.

What are frogoblims? Frogoblims are a mythological creature that exist natively to the island of Kampinq, They exist on their own level of reality and are thus unseeable to the normal human eye. Normally, they stay far away from people, but when they do come in contact with humans, reality can be altered. The average adult female frogoblim is at least as twice as large as the average adult male. Jared, in his frogoblim form is full grown, while Maggot is still a youngster.

What is Kampinq? Kampinq is used to describe two different things.

1. Kampinq is an isolated, tropical island. It is the only place in the world that frogoblims live naturally. It is believed that frogoblims live in a very isolated place on the island. Kampiqean legend says that they were malevolent spirits and cradle robbers driven away a very long time ago and never seen again by humans. (This is probably a misunderstanding on the part of the humans, however.)

2. Kampinq is also a fruit, and the preferred diet of Frogoblims, In fact, they can’t live without these fruit, which are only found on the island of Kampinq. Kampinq fruit are extremely sweet and by themselves are unpalatable by themselves to humans. However, it is used as a popular sweetener for teas. Kampinq oil can be spread onto glasses or any transparent object to be used to see the shadows of frogoblims. That being said, normal humans are not capable of seeing the true body of a frogoblim and can only see their “shadows”.

When does this comic update? I thought it was supposed to update on Saturdays! At one point, I was able to work on a 3 days a week schedule, but I haven’t been able to do that lately, I apologize deeply for that. Right now, I am working on a Monday and Thursday schedule, but I would like to go back to having more updates in the future.

Is this comic safe for a child to read? Filtered Fuzz is a comic aimed at the young and young art heart, so if you do read this comic with small children in the room, there shouldn’t be a problem. Filtered Fuzz does feature mild peril and elements of magic or the supernatural, such as Jared being transformed into a frogoblim. I strongly encourage parents of younger children to monitor what their children read. Different families have different values, so it’s understandable that Filtered Fuzz might not be for everyone. I sincerely believe there isn’t anything in my comic more offensive than the average Y7-rated cartoon on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon or a Disney film. I have rated this comic WC-7 by the Family Webcomics rating scale.
