Harper Wants Answers

The comic is back! I know, only two months later than I originally thought. Sorry about that extended break, all, but the creative process was very slow going.

I was actually about 85% done with this page before I fell off the face of the Earth, but I really couldn’t find the energy to finish it.

This page was rather difficult to do. I personally have always had a great relationship with my dad, so writing something like this were Harper is really upset with her dad is just so different. But I don’t Harper’s dialogue to come off as being yelling or whining for the sake of it. She’s genuinely concerned for her friends and her father.

Oh no way is she. Her life is potentially in danger. She’s being totally reasonable and fair to her dad, yelling or no. The transition between this page and the last was a bit rough, but the dialogue for the rest of it is fine. (I actually suspect it more has to do with the sudden mood shift has more to do with the transition than the dialogue, but I don’t actually know. Maybe it’s Harper going from eight feet away from her dad to two?)

Anyway, the last several pages the characters’ art, especially the frogoblims, has felt a lot cleaner. ^^
